"The only way out of the labyrinth of suffering is to forgive."
-Looking For Alaska, John Green.

These first three posts have been John Green quotes. Can I help that he's such a quotable person?

The Quote Challenge: Pt II

Day 02: A quote from your favorite writer.
"My thoughts are stars I cannot fathom into constellations."
-The Fault in Our Stars, John Green

The Quote Challenge: Pt I

Day 01: A quote that describes you.
"You spend your whole life in the labyrinth, thinking about how you'll escape it one day, and how awesome it will be, and imagining the future that keeps you going, but you never do it. You just use the future to escape the present."
-John Green

Slacker.

I haven't updated this blog in a little over a month and I suck. Granted, I don't have any followers so I suppose it doesn't really matter. But to get me back into the writing (hem, typing) mood again, I'll be doing a couple thirty day challenges on this blog, including the letter challenge, the rant challenge, and the quote challenge. The first two are thirty days long and the latter is only fifteen days. Obviously, these challenges will extend into next year. Ah well. I think it will be fun to try this out. :)

Au Revoir.

Modern Nature

Oh, what a world this life would be.
Forget all your technicolor dreams.
Forget modern nature,
This is how it's meant to be.

"It's not so bad being dead like me."

I just finished Dead Like Me this afternoon, which is rather pathetic because it took me a full year just to watch twenty-nine episodes when it only took me a month tops to finish watching Doctor Who on Netflix.
To be honest, I didn't think I would like this show when I first got into it, but now I'm sad that I've got nothing to watch anymore. Doctor Who's on hiatus, Torchwood's been taken over by the Americans, Buffy and That '70s Show are over, and Glee's only on Tuesdays. What am I supposed to do with my life now?
...Wow. I am so lame.
I think what I'll miss the most about this show is Mason and his ever-so-eloquent comments. It's not really that surprising that he would be my favorite, seeing as he's the only Brit on the show. Daisy was slowly growing on me as well, but of course the show had to end before I could get the chance to full-out like her.
Anyways, I have nothing of value to say anymore, so I'm just going to wrap things up before I annoy you all too much.
(Though I must also add, Dead Like Me definitely wins the award for the television show with the most cussing. Props to them.)

Au Revoir.
